Neoloy® Reinforcement Mechanism
The Neoloy reinforcement mechanism is based on a 3D cellular confinement system, a honeycomb structure formed by the 3D interactions of soil, cell walls, and geometry.
This system maintains the infill material confined, boosting the structural strength of the infill and providing a better support for the pavement layers.
Neoloy Tough Cells layer function as a high-strength flexible beam, reducing stress and settlement. Furthermore, cellular confinement increases the elastic modulus values of granular infill materials, including marginal fill materials such as fine granular soils and recycled materials.
We recommend watching the video below to learn more about the Neoloy Tough Cells mechanism.
